    Rookie of the Year: Your entry is meant to showcase your skills and passion for a specific career path in the creative industry. Think about what you want the judges to see: your best work, your readiness for entry-level roles, and your potential as an emerging artist. This is your moment to make a lasting impression, so keep that goal in mind as you prepare. There are 12 industry-based categories (e.g., 2D/3D Animation, VFX, Game Development, Digital Fashion). Select one category that reflects your career goals.

    Entries Close: 20 June 2025
    Finalists Announced: 31 July 2025
    Winners Announced: 20 August 2025

  • Who Can Enter?
    Entrants must be 18 years or older and have less than one year of professional experience in any of the creative industries featured in the contest categories, as of June 20, 2025. For further information please read the rules.
    Students, Self-Taught Artists, Hobbyists: All are welcome.
    Individuals: Can submit to Rookie of the Year, Career Opportunities, Film of the Year, and Game of the Year.
    Teams: A single nominated team member can submit to Film of the Year or Game of the Year (then add other team members as collaborators).
